How can neon offer an account without a banking licence?
It's actually quite simple. Strictly speaking it's not neon that offers you the account. Your account is managed by Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, which has a banking licence. That, of course, means that your money is safely protected by deposit insurance (up to 100'000 CHF per personal account including Spaces and per joint account).
